Today, gaming has become such a normal activity to fill time with. In the past, gaming was quite rare. This is because gaming usually would take place in arcades and kids would visit them when school is over. Kids would have to use real money and exchange them for tokens. If they have no money, then playing in the arcade becomes impossible after school

Now, gaming has become digital. PC, console, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStations are a few devices that players can use to play games. To name a few popular games: Valorant, Elden Ring, and Genshin Impact. This has become the new norm today. Kids or adults no longer have late-night ventures to cyber cafes to play games with their friends. After the pandemic, everyone has stable internet connections at home. Whether students are taking a Master’s in Doctorate or an advanced diploma of nursing in Malaysia, gaming has become one of the few ways people employ to reduce stress.

Gaming can also help students escape the stress of daily life. After a long day of studying, doing homework, and answering tests, many opt to find solitude and solace somewhere. The sense of control in playing games can help one find a distraction from daily struggles and ease the foul mood. However, there are a few rules that they must abide by: avoid too much gaming, manage emotions with the help or without the help of video games, and balance gaming – real life.

It’s beneficial for people who face daily problems to release their stress by playing games. Whether it’s an RPG, puzzles, lost and found, action, and mystery games, try out any genre that matches your preference. At the end of the day, it’s good to remind yourself to maintain healthy habits.
